Supporting Our Community
Carty Gwilym has a long history of happily supporting causes, organizations and events throughout the Ottawa area. We believe in giving to the communities that we live and work in.
Greater Ottawa Habitat for Humanity
Carty Gwilym has actively supported the Greater Ottawa Habitat for Humanity since 2002. It started with donating valuation services to the Ed Schryer Work Project, a community of semi-detached homes in the Sawmill Creek Community in Ottawa. Since then, Carty Gwilym has continued providing pro-bono valuation services to the organization and being a regular donor.
National Arts Centre Foundation
Over the years, members of the Carty Gwilym team have been loyal patrons of the National Arts Centre, revelling in world-class entertainment. Some connections stretch back to high school and tours of the building—2019 marked Carty Gwilym’s 30th anniversary. To celebrate the milestone, the company supported the National Arts Centre Foundation and its mission to transform Canada through the performing arts.
Ottawa Food Bank
Along with housing, we believe food is a basic requirement for ensuring the health and well-being of children and families. That is why we proudly support the Ottawa Food Bank and all their member agencies across the Ottawa area in their tireless work addressing food insecurity, promoting equity and building a stronger community.
